Google+ Lauched Games. Now you can play games on Google+ like Facebook

Seems like Google want to give tough competition to Facebook, as today Google announced the launch of Games for Google plus. Interesting part is many popular games like Angry birds, Bejeweled, Sudoku, Zombie lane, Zynga Poker and many others are part of this initial launch of Google+ games. Here is an image showing some of the games which is available on Google+.


The game button is available at the top of your stream(where profile and other tabs are).

When you’re ready to play, the Games page is waiting—click the games button at the top of your stream. You can see the latest game updates from your circles, browse the invites you’ve received and check out games that people you know have played recently. The Games page is also where your game accomplishments will appear. So you can comfortably share your latest high score—your circles will only see the updates when they’re interested in playing games too.

Google is moving step by step ahead in the race of social networking leadership. As it is, it’s quite obvious that Facebook is trying really hard to maintain the leadership which they have created and probably that’s why Facebook launched video chat some time back and also Facebook messenger as an answer to Google+ hangout and Google+ huddle feature respectively.As it is gaming is one part of social networking site, which helps in user engagement. According to Techcrunch, almost 200 millions users out of 750 millions on Facebook are part of Facebook games. So you can imagine, by launching gaming on Google plus in such short span, Google+ has done an incredible job.
